The Merges family farm in Friedelhausen is located in the heart of the North Palatinate mountain region and, with fewer than 250 inhabitants, is one of the more idyllic and peaceful villages in the district of Kusel.

There are many charming and, in some cases, still quite secluded and well-maintained forest and farm tracks around the village, which are ideal for cross-country riding at any time of year. Hoof protection is required.

For over 20 years now, the Merges family has been offering various riding tours with different levels of difficulty for beginners as well as advanced riders on their horses or on your own horse.

As early as 1997, Merges Riding Center was officially recognized by the German Equestrian Federation (FN) as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Association of Riding and Driving Clubs and as a riding center.

Since 1999, the riding stable has been a founding member and trail riding station of the Pfalz zu Pferd e.V. association. They are also part of the German Association of Recreational Riders and Drivers (VfD).

In addition to training as an FN riding instructor and active trail riding guide, they passed the exams to become FN trainer assistants, FN Trainer C Riding, and FN Trainer B Basic Sports/Youth.

In addition, the additional qualification for FN Trainer B Ground Work was successfully passed in 2015. As you can see, you are in the very best hands here.

With well-trained school horses, you will receive qualified beginner lessons and can also participate in individual advanced training courses with external instructors.
